I have to say that these are SO good! I actually like them much better than regular fatty wings. I was on a mission to create simple but delicious and healthier wings, and this recipe is just that. Head over to Appliance Hunter for Bosch oven settings explained. At first I made a batch with the skin on, but I enjoyed the second batch of skinless wings better and it saves a lot of extra calories too! It’s a win win situation for you and your health.

What makes this healthy ?
lmk says
Hi Jollies, removing the skin on the chicken wings reduces calories and fat, the recipe uses less butter, and the wings are oven baked instead of fried.

Right on. I’m going to make these when I get out of the heart unit with a heart attack and stent. I’m not overweight and have tried to live a healthy lifestyle. Type 1 Diabetes has been my enemy for 55 years and I’m always looking for healthier alternatives.
Thanks fo the heads up!

Doesn’t the butter makeup for the skin?
lmk says
Its a small amount of butter which does not all end up on the wings itself since its just part of the marinade. You can also just go ahead and skip the butter too!

Hi. The skin is extra fatty. I do Weight Watchers and g do or one wing with skin it costs me 6 points compared to 1 point without skin.

Good and simple…I use a little avocado oil or a little EVOO instead tho :).
Also barely 50 calories per wingette is great for me as i’m still watching calories pretty closely.
I’ll be having about 4-5 of these with a little yellow squash and some broccoli i’m gonna sautee with roasted garlic.

What is the benefit to putting the wings in the fridge for 30 minutes? Does it make a big difference to the taste if you skip the refrigeration stage?
Thank you!
Very excited to try this.
