Prep time:

Total time:
Serves: 10

Ingredients
  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 5 Grape Tomatoes, sliced in half
  • 1 Romaine Lettuce Leaf, cut into small strips
  • ½ tsp ground pepper
  • ¼ tsp Sea Salt (optional)
  • 2 slices Cheddar Cheese (or any cheese), broken into smaller strips
  • 10 Toothpicks
Instructions
  1. Work the pepper and salt (optional, I did not use salt) into the beef.
  2. Break the beef into 10 parts, then Roll each into a tight ball.
  3. Spray a large pan with cooking spray and heat.
  4. Place all "meat balls" onto the pan and cook, covered and flipping halfway, until desired wellness. Remove from heat and add the cheese strips on top, then cover the pan, allow the trapped heat to melt the cheese.
  5. Remove the mini burgers from the pan and set aside to slightly cool.
  6. Wash the lettuce and tomatoes. Slice the tomatoes in half and the lettuce into small enough strips to use for the burgers.
  7. Pierce each tomato half with a toothpick, then add the lettuce, then finally stick into each burger.
  8. Serve with a side of Ketchup to dip!
