Mashed potatoes are such a great staple side dish, but depending on how they are prepared, can be not so nutritious. This recipe is an easy and healthy way to enjoy mashed potatoes without all the extra bad stuff.
Easy Healthy Mashed Potatoes
Serves: 6
Ingredients
- 2 Large Red Potatoes
- ¼ tbsp. Butter
- ⅛ tsp Fine Sea Salt
Instructions
- Wash the potatoes well
- Cut potatoes into 3 inch chunks (you can leave the skin on or remove)
- Boil the potato chunks for 20 minutes
- Remove the potatoes from the water and let cool for 3 minutes.
- Mash the potatoes using a potato masher or large spoon.
- Mix in the butter and salt.
- Enjoy!
